Although this vineyard lies at 1,500 ft. elevation, its bench-like exposure and gravelly soils allow a pronounced combination of power and concentration to develop in the grapes. From the distinctive aromas of ripe melon, ginger and graham cracker to its decadent and opulent persistence on the palate with flavors of pomelo and crystallized ginger, Gravel Bench is a true gem of the Estate.
