Restricted White Blend

Restricted is a collection of small-lot wines that are made by Chris Carpenter and Gianna Ghilarducci and are as formidable as the terrain from which they grow. The Restricted Proprietary White Wine allows Winemaker Gianna Ghilarducci to experiment with growing regions, vineyard blocks, and individual rows according to vintage, quality, and process. Numbered and signed by the winemaker, each bottle reveals an intimate expression of some of the most isolated and iconic soils in California. They treat each variety differently to bring out its distinct personalities. The Pinot Blanc received six hours of skin contact time in the press, while the Albariño was foot treaded and then whole cluster pressed. The lots were then fermented in Neutral French oak puncheons or concrete eggs.
