At 1,800 feet, and with a southwest exposure, this site is drenched in sunlight
nearly all day long, but the cool Pacific breezes and gravel soils give the grapes
from this block a distinct mineral focus. Seismic activity here has literally created
a broken road (hence the vineyard name).
