2006 Christopher's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

For each given vintage, Christopher’s Vineyard is our most remarkable Cabernet Sauvignon grown on the mountain. The 2,400 foot vineyard site sits well above the fog line and receives exceptional exposure to sunlight, soils that are studded with volcanic rocks, and temperatures that are moderated by cooling evening winds from the Pacific Ocean. The 2006 Christopher’s is savory and vibrant with notes of black tea, dried currant, and cocoa. The palate reflects the mountain's power with flavors of blackberry and wet slate with a supple mouthfeel and polished tannins.
