2007 Overlook Cabernet Franc
As is the case with all variety-reflective Cabernet Franc, this one does not disappoint in its fresh herb/floral qualities, exhibiting violet, cassis leaf, red currant, wild strawberry and then darker elements of licorice and café-au-lait. Both richly textured and firm, the palate shows an inclination for cellaring, but would be superb now decanted with a rack of lamb.
